IRONBOUND IMPERIAL CIDERS

Ironbound Imperial Ciders are our Jersey take on old-world aperitifs and digestifs. Borrowing from traditional port production, we use applejack to stop the fermentation of our hard cider early so that we retain the natural sweetness and complexity of our heirloom apple varieties. We then infuse this blend with a proprietary mix of aromatic and bittering botanicals—ingredients that are grown on our farm and by our local network of grower-partners. Like the classic European aperitifs and digestifs that inspired us, these unique farm-driven fortified ciders will evolve and soften over time.

Ironbound Lemon Beebrush Imperial Cider

LEMON BEEBRUSH
18.5% ABV

An infusion of Ironbound Farm-grown chamomile, lemon balm, and other botanicals—along with a mix of classic bittering herbs and wild spices—creates a complex, deeply aromatic aperitif with notes of tea, lemonade, green apple, pie spice, and dark chocolate. Reminiscent of Italian amaro, enjoy on its own and in cocktails.

Ironbound Cherry Burdock Imperial Cider

CHERRY BURDOCK
18.5% ABV

An infusion of Ironbound Farm-grown botanicals, citrus, and classic bittering barks creates a rich, bitter-sweet aperitif with notes of chocolate-covered cherries and exotic spices. Barrel aging creates a long, smooth finish with hints of freshly roasted coffee and toasted almonds. Perfect on its own over ice and in place of vermouth in classic cocktails.

Ironbound Orange Blossom Imperial Cider

ORANGE BLOSSOM
18.5% ABV

An infusion of chamomile blossoms, bitter orange, and sundried peels of sweet orange and lemon creates a bright, citrusy aperitif. Enjoy on the rocks and in your favorite cocktail. Pairs beautifully with tequila, especially in a margarita!

THE HARVEST MOON

3 oz Orange Blossom Imperial Cider

5 oz Devil’s Harvest Hard Cider

Serve over ice with a garnish of sliced orange.

CHARLITA

1.25 oz Blanco Tequila

1.75 oz Orange Blossom Imperial Cider

.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice

Combine all ingredients over ice and shake vigorously. Serve over ice in a chili-lime rimmed glass with a lime garnish. For an extra kick, float a pour of Orange Blossom Imperial on top of the finished cocktail.

Ironbound Campalec Imperial Cider

CAMPALEC
18.5% ABV

An infusion of Ironbound Farm-grown herbs, fruits, and bittering roots produces notes of mixed berry compote, hot chocolate, and whipped cream with a lovely, lingering bitter finish. Our master cidermaker, Cam, and our farmer-chef, Alec, combined their creative skills—and their names (Cam+Alec)—to create this deeply flavorful aperitif. Wonderful on its own and when used in place of Campari in a Negroni, Spritz, or other cocktail.

1 oz Cherry Burdock Imperial Cider (or Vermouth Rosso)

Serve over ice and garnish with a twist of orange peel.
